Petrochemical products are products mainly driven by petroleum. The most important petrochemical categories are olefins and aromatics, which are produced by fluidized catalytic cracking of petroleum fractions. Petrochemical catalysts are indispensable, which can maximize the output and efficiency of petrochemical plants.

Alfa Chemistry provides customers with excellent solutions for catalyst protection and recycling. Our filtration solutions and coalescing systems are available in a variety of materials and configurations to remove solids or liquids from the feed stream.


Our liquid/liquid coalescer can effectively separate water from hydrocarbon streams without disarming. It uses a multi-stage system to first remove particulate matter, and then coalesce and separate the dispersed phase liquid and the continuous phase liquid.

Our P-type coalescer system consists of a multi-stage process starting from filtration. It removes particulate matter and then uses a primary or secondary coalescer stack to separate the two liquid phases. It can remove liquid contaminants to 15 ppmv or lower under various conditions, the influent concentration is as high as 100000 ppmv, and the interfacial tension is as low as 0.5 dyne/cm. The coalescer element is stacked on top of the separator element, and the flow distribution from the coalescer to the separator is optimized to ensure that each separator has an equal flow. The availability of many different materials ensures compatibility with almost any type of liquid/liquid mixture.

A/S Series Filter Element

The A/S series filters are made of full polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) filter media. These elements have an absolute rated downstream part and an upstream part of a continuous section aperture, thereby increasing the service life. The fiber in the filter is continuous and no binder resin or surfactant is used. The fibers are "bonded" by interweaving during the manufacturing process. The filter assembly meets the biological test specifications listed for Class VI plastics at 121 °C.


Our filters are all polypropylene, suitable for various corrosive and non-corrosive fluids. The element has an absolute rated downstream section and an upstream section with continuously graded apertures, which increases the service life. The fibers in the filter are continuous. Since no binder resin is used, the filter shows no media migration.

The filter has many applications in a wide range of industries including chemical, petrochemical, photochemical, pharmaceutical, biological, electronic, magnetic tape, electroplating, food and beverage, cosmetics, veterinary, medical and fermentation industries. Filters are often used as pre-filters and final filters.
