Activated Carbon Filter Sheets

The activated carbon filter plate was developed to meet general carbon adsorption applications in the food and beverage industry. The sheet-like medium adds activated carbon to the cellulose fiber matrix and can be used in combination with protective filter paper to prevent carbon particles from falling off downstream of the filter. In addition, the adsorption efficiency of the immobilized carbon filter media is higher than the same amount of bulk powdered activated carbon (PAC), thereby shortening the total processing time and increasing the product yield. Internal comparative studies using the same carbon grade show that the color removal efficiency is 150% higher than that of bulk PAC.
