Ion Reduced Depth Filter Sheets

The ion reduction depth filter series was developed to meet the production needs and requirements of the distilled spirits industry. A visually bright finished product without visible particles is one of the main goals of the industry. If the calcium content is too high, some spirits' ingredients may precipitate, such as protein, C12-16 fatty acid esters or their complexes with metals. Magnesium may also cause the precipitation of tannin-containing spirits such as whiskey and brandy. The standard filter contains a small amount of these ions extracted from the raw material. The ion-reducing depth filter is specially processed and can extract very low ions, which is an ideal choice for distilled spirits.
