The product is made of polypropylene, which is chemically resistant and biologically inert, and has a low binding rate with nucleic acids and proteins. The polypropylene structure provides durability when using harsh organic solvents and prevents unwanted extractables and leachables.
The product comes with a PTFE membrane and can be used for high-throughput sample preparation for samples that use solvents and powerful filtration applications.
