- Features And Benefits
The membrane is composed of microporous polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), which has high binding capacity to all biomolecules, especially proteins. The effective signal-to-noise ratio allows longer exposure times and provides high sensitivity during the detection process, even with low protein content.
Western-blot, Dot- and Slot-blot, amino acid analysis, binding assays, detection of glycoproteins, N-terminal peptide sequencing.
1. Compared with nitrocellulose, the membrane is easier to handle and easier to dye
2. Excellent resistance to organic solvents.
3. The open-pore structure is used for detection of antibodies or other peptides that are easily accessible to the binding protein
4. It can effectively remove unbound molecules and effectively reduce background.
